Well then, never sure what to say here but today I uploaded “Fallen” and I think it’s really neat, it seems to have taken some people by surprise that it’s as “heavy” as it is but to me it’s been fairly obvious since “self discipline” that I like it when things go chunk. Overall fallen is probably one of the heavier songs of this project but not to such an extent that it doesn’t fit in. That said, I have a separate project that’s been bubbling up to the surface lately that is much more aggressive, very little singing mostly screaming, layers of chaos, and more distortion that one person should be allowed. That will come much much later though and probably won’t even have my name attached to it. Also I’ve got a 10/12 song long radio friendly rock album with some super gentle ballads that’s just as honest and just as important to me. All these things will see the light of day in time. For now, here’s a song called fallen. I started writing it in like 2015 (The chorus came to mind in an old basement suite my girlfriend at the time and I lived in and rarely left, I believe I recorded the demo vocals while giving her a piggy back) I didn’t finish the rest of the lyrics though until just a few weeks ago and I think the new lyrics work very well to frame the old ones and make a (fairly) complete statement. That said the song is like 2 minutes long though and this rant has far surpassed that. Go outside.
